OverviewInhibits α-glucosidase activity in mammals, snails, sweet almonds, and yeast. An irreversible, potent, and specific inhibitor of glucocerebrosidase in cultured neurons. Has also been shown to inhibit α-glucosidase from yeast and rabbit intestinal sucrase-isomaltase complex.
