      Description
OverviewA cell-permeable inhibtor of protein kinase C (IC50 = 20-50 µM). Activates Ca2+-activated K+ channels in amphibian myelinated nerve fibers at micromolar concentrations. An inhibitor of myo-inositol uptake. Also inhibits L-type Ca2+ channel activity. A potent inhibitor of 5′-iodothyronine deiodinase. Antagonist of prostaglandin F receptors linked to phospholipase C in astrocytes.
