      Application Data
DescriptionThe set contains 5 ready-to-use chemical reagents that induce apoptosis through different mechanisms. Actinomycin D, an anti-neoplastic antibiotic, inhibits RNA synthesis. Camptothecin and etoposide are inhibitors of nuclear topoisomerase. Cycloheximide, an active antibiotic against many yeast and fungi, inhibits protein synthesis. Dexamethasone, an active and highly stable glucocorticoid, probably induces apoptosis by binding and activating the intracellular glucocorticoid receptor. Supplied with a data sheet.
      FormLiquid
FormulationAll components are supplied in DMSO.
Recommended reaction conditionsA 1:1000 is recommended for inducing apoptosis in cell culture with these apoptosis-inducing reagents. The optimal dosie may vary for different cell types and culture conditions. Please consult published literature to determine the optimal concentration and incubation time for specific cell types.
