      DescriptionRabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as undiluted serum. Recognizes the ~35 kDa AIDA protein.
      BackgroundThe AIDA protein acts as a ventralizing factor during embryogenesis. It inhibits axin-mediated JNK activation by binding axin and disrupting axin homodimerization. This reaction, in turn, antagonizes a Wnt/β-catenin-independent dorsalization pathway activated by AXIN/JNK-signaling.
