      A highly specific substrate for the protein kinase Cδ isozyme (PKCδ; Km = 22.9 µM). The sequence corresponds to amino acid residues 422 - 443 of murine εEF-1α containing Thr431, which is phosphorylated by PKCδ. Arg429 is essential for recognition of this peptide as PKCδ substrate.
