      This product has been discontinued.



      A cell-permeable manganese complex of 7-hydroxyflavone that acts as a superoxide dismustase (SOD) mimetic and a neuroprotective agent against radical-induced damages. Shown to prevent the reduction of NBT by O2– • (IC50 = 1.18 µM) and exhibit ~10 times higher potency than Trolox (Cat. No. 648471) in inhibiting lipid peroxidation (IC50 = 6.15 µM) in vitro. Suppresses MAP (methamphetamine)-induced brain hypermotility in mice and shows protective effects against learning and memory impairment in a murine ischemic model in vivo.
