      DescriptionRabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as undiluted serum. Recognizes the ~17 kDa stathmin protein.
      BackgroundStathmin is a highly conserved cytoplasmic phosphoprotein, which is thought to act as a relay that integrates diverse cell signaling pathways. Stathmin interferes with the dynamic instability of microtubules in vitro and in vivo. Stathmin in vitro either promotes rapid depolymerization of microtubules or prevents microtubule assembly in a polymerization inhibition assay.
