      Revision01-October-2007 RFH
      ApplicationImmunoprecipitation (1-2 µg/sample)
      Neutralization (see application references)
DescriptionPurified rat monoclonal antibody generated by immunizing rats with the specified immunogen and fusing splenocytes with Y3 Ag 1.2.3 rat myeloma cells (see application references). Recognizes the v-fes encoded sequences common to the polyprotein translational products of the Snyder-Theilen and Gardner strains of feline sarcoma virus (FesV).
BackgroundThe Snyder-Theilen and Gardner strains of feline salcoma virus (Fesv) consist of amino terminal domains of viral origin and carboxy terminal v-fes specific domains with protein-tyrosine kinase activity. The v-fes human cellular homolog, c-fes, has been cloned and mapped to band q25-q26 on chromosome 15.
