DescriptionPurified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes the EVI1 protein.
BackgroundThe EVI1 protein functions as a transcriptional regulator, binding to DNA sequences in the promoter region of target genes, which thereby positively or negatively regulates their expression. Its oncogene plays a role in development, cell proliferation and differentiation. It may also play a role in apoptosis through the regulation of the JNK and TGF-beta signaling and is involved in hematopoiesis.
