DescriptionPurified mouse monoclonal antibody generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with the specified immunogen and fusing splenocytes with Sp2/0 mouse myeloma cells. Recognizes the ~55 kDA Cdh1 protein.
BackgroundCdh1, a homolog of the yeast Cdc20, is a ~55 kDa protein required for the degradation of anaphase-promoting complex (APC)-dependent proteolysis. Cdh1 acts as a limiting, substrate-specific activator of APC-dependent proteolysis and it is required for the degradation of APC substrates such as Clb2 and Ase1. Cdh1 plays an important role in mitotic regulation.
