Application ReferencesFlow Cytometry Tegoshi, T., et al. 2005. APMIS 113, 91.
Key Applications Flow Cytometry
Frozen Sections
Immunoblotting (Western Blotting)
Not Paraffin Sections
Application NotesFrozen Sections (10 µg/ml)
Flow Cytometry (see application references)
Immunoblotting (10 µg/ml)
Paraffin Sections (not recommended)
Cell Inhibition Assays (not recommended)
Application CommentsDoes not inhibit E-cadherin-dependent cell-cell contact. Note: 10 mM Ca2+ should be present in all buffers to stabilize the cadherin antigen. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the optimal working dilution.

Special InstructionsReconstitute in 50 µl dH₂O to yield a final concentration of 2 mg/ml. Further dilute in 20 mM TBS, pH 7.4, 10 mM CaCl₂, and 1% BSA. Following reconstitution, aliquot and freeze (-20°C) for long-term storage or add 0.1% sodium azide and refrigerate (4°C) for short-term storage (6 months). Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of solution. TBS is recommended as PBS causes precipitation.
