Description
Mutant of E. coli 0111:B4. Stimulates the activity of inducible nitric oxide synthase. Induces apoptosis in mouse thymus and swine lymphocytes. Highly purified preparation.
H₂O (1 mg/ml). LPS will form a suspension in H₂O; slight warming and vortexing may be required to achieve complete dispersion in H₂O. Addition of 0.5% triethylamine will also help with dispersion; triethylamine is very basic and can be neutralized with Trix-HCl to avoid hydrolysis of the fatty acid chains.
