Custom Premix Selecting "Custom Premix" option means that all of the beads you have chosen will be premixed in manufacturing before the kit is sent to you.
Readily couples biotin to primary amino groups of proteins under mild alkaline conditions. Ideally suited for labeling antibodies, hormones, or other polypeptide molecules containing lysine residues. Extended spacer arm provides maximum accessibility of biotin for avidin conjugates.
Unstable in aqueous solution; reconstitute just prior to use. Following reconstitution in DMSO, Aliquot and freeze (-20°C). DMSO stock solutions are stable for up to 1 month -20°C.

数据表
Note that this data sheet is not lot-specific and is representative of the current specifications for this product. Please consult the vial label and the certificate of analysis for information on specific lots. Also note that shipping conditions may differ from storage conditions.
Water solubility is extremely convenient, eliminating the need to dissolve the reagent in an organic solvent such as dimethylformamide (DMF) and dimethylsulfoxide (DMSO) prior to use.
Form
Off white to tan solid
Recommended reaction conditions
Buffers containing amines (such as Tris or glycine) should be avoided because they can compete with the reaction. It is also very important that the stock solution be prepared just prior to addition of the reaction mixture, because these compounds are prone to hydrolysis by water. Water-soluble crosslinkers can be dissolved in water or buffer at a concentration of 10-25 mM. Phosphate buffers may precipitate sulfo-N-hydroxysuccinimide (sulfo-NHS) containing compounds. In addition, the solid crosslinker can be added directly to the sample to minimize hydrolysis. Hydrolysis is more pronounced in dilute protein solutions, but can be minimized by using more concentrated protein solution (greater than 5 mg/ml).
If you prefer to work with stock solutions, we recommend that you dissolve the crosslinker in anhydrous DMSO at a concentration of 10-25 mM. This solution can then be diluted into the buffer of your choice just prior to use.
