Empowering Biotech Startups to Solve Their Toughest Challenges

As part of our commitment to meet the needs of the life science community, we’ve developed several grant programs that recognize stand-out emerging biotech (EB) companies. These programs are designed to support biotech start-ups and medium sized companies in solving their current bioprocess development challenges to bring the next generation of molecules to market.
The first two programs, held in China (2015) and North America (2014) have been very successful, as grant winners have been able to develop their molecule to market, with the help of products and services from our Life Science business. We are now implementing the third EB Grant Program in Europe. The program will run until October 1ST, 2016; giving applicants a chance to win up to €100k in products, services and consultation, along with additional prizes. Rules and application forms can be found
here.
We have also recently launched our Emerging Biotech webpages in NA, EU, and Asia (translated into Chinese). Discussions with industry executives led us to realize that the EB community was lacking a single point of reference to connect, learn and share experience. As a result, we have developed an Emerging Biotech Web experience in collaboration with several customers. The goal is to foster a digital dialogue and serve as a resource for the biotech start-up community. The site will evolve based on industry developments, user feedback, and direct customer input.
