Millipore Express® High Area Cartridges for Improved Efficiency
We recently launched the Millipore Express® Sterile High Capacity (SHC) and Sterile High Retention with onboard Pre-filter (SHR+P) high area cartridges for increased productivity and process efficiency. The innovative design of these new membrane filters provides greater filtration capacity in a smaller footprint, improving filtration economics for biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Millipore Express® SHC and SHR+P high area cartridges combine fast flowing polyethersulfone (PES) membranes with an M-pleat pattern that provides up to two times more surface area than a conventional filter. These features make the new filters ideal for use with feed streams with high levels of particulates, such as cell culture media and protein solutions. The increased capacity reduces labor and filtration costs and improves operational efficiencies.
