Merck Millipore Named One of the Top Charitable Contributors by the Boston Business Journal

— Merck Millipore, the Life Science division of Merck KGaA, was ranked number 50 on the Boston Business Journal’s List of 2013 Top Charitable Contributors.

Where:  The Boston Business Journal’s Annual “Corporate Citizenship Summit” held this year at the Westin Waterfront, Boston.

Why:      The Merck Millipore Giving Program was ranked 50th on the Boston Business Journal’s List of Top Charitable Contributors. The Top Charitable Contributors- defined by the BBJ as organizations that donated $50,000 or more to local non-profits in 2012- were honored at the Corporate Citizenship Summit on September 12. In 2012, Merck Millipore donated $364,000 to Massachusetts non-profits through grants and sponsorships.
