OverviewIndole alkaloid that binds to tubulin, inhibiting formation of microtubules. Depolymerizes microtubules. Induces increase in micronuclei and delays cell cycle progression. Anti-neoplastic agent. Induces apoptosis in human lymphoma cells by disrupting microtubules.
