Description
OverviewA novel sulfonamide compound that acts as a cell-permeable and specific activator of phospholipase C (PLC). Shown to stimulate the PLC-mediated intracellular Ca2+ release, inositol phosphates production, and superoxide generation in various cell types. It activates all PLC isotypes (β2, β3, γ1, γ2, and δ1) in vitro, but not heterotrimeric G proteins, PI 3-kinase, or PLD.
