OverviewNAAG is a neuropeptide and a neurotransmitter that is abundant in the mammalian nervous system. It remains uncertain whether this compound activates NMDA receptors; however, it is clearly demonstrated to act as a selective agonist of mGluR3, both in vitro and in vivo.
