OverviewThe external pretreatment XL system cable is used when an external pretreatment unit is installed upstream of Milli-Q® HX/HXSD/HR/CLX 7000 water systems. It transmits an open/closed type of signal to the system when a pre-treatment device is not producing water due to automatic maintenance (i.e. softener regenerating). When the UF pretreatment unit (ZUFPREUN0) is ordered with its accessory bag (ZUFPREUN8), this cable is already included as part of the UF Accessory bag.
