Application NotesWestern blot: 1:1,000 using ECL. The antibody reacts with a protein of ~95kDa. Faint reactivity was seen in the dvl-1 and dvl-3 HEK293 cell lysates suggesting there may be endogenous dvl-2 present.

Immunohistochemistry: 1:1,000 using the avidin-biotin system.

Dilute antibody in 50 mM PBS, pH 7.4 containing 1.5% sodium chloride and 1% normal animal serum (same species as the host of the secondary antibody).

Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.

SpecificityDisheveiled-2 protein (dvl-2). By Western blot the antibody shows no cross reactivity with recombinant disheveiled-1 (dvl-1) or disheveiled-3 (dvl-3) protein. Pre-adsorption of the antibody with the immunogen peptide completely abolishes its reactivity by Western blot against disheveiled-2 protein.
