Description
OverviewThe lac operon inducer IPTG (isopropyl-β-D- 1-thiogalactopyranoside) is recommended for blue/white screening by lacZ α- complementation with appropriate vectors and host strains, such as pSTBlue-1/NovaBlue, and for inducing protein expression with the pET System and other lac promoter-derived expression systems. The preparation is dioxane-free and supplied as a sterile aqueous solution, in convenient volumes (10 × 1.5 ml).
