Mesenchymal Stem Cells - Human Bone Marrow
Product Highlight: Mesenchymal Stem Cells - Human Bone Marrow
Multipotent human mesenchymal stem cells are derived from human bone marrow from a single donor, and provide a convenient source of highly viable, well characterized hMSC’s for multiple applications. These cells are able to efficiently differentiate into adipocytes, chondrocytes and osteocytes, and can be cultured in their undifferentiated state for at least 10 passages in MSC Expansion Medium.
Mesenchymal stem cells are defined as a self-renewing population of adherent multipotent progenitor cells with the capacity to differentiate into several mesenchymal cell lineages. Mesenchymal stem cells have been derived from various adult tissues including bone marrow, adipose, dental pulp and umbilical cord. In defined in vitro assays, mesenchymal stem cells have been shown to readily differentiate into lineage-specific cells that form bone, cartilage, fat, tendon, and muscle tissues. Mesenchymal stem cells also provide support and maintenance for hematopoietic stem cells.

Merck provides a broad range of human mesenchymal stem cell products for the expansion, differentiation and characterization of human mesenchymal stem cells. These products include cryopreserved human mesenchymal stem cells from various tissues sources, optimized media for expansion and cryopreservation, kits and media to differentiation the cells into osteocytes and adipocytes, and characterization antibodies and kits.

Human Bone-Marrow Mesenchymal Stem Cell Kit

Human Bone Marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells have proven to be the gold standard for mesenchymal stem cell researchers studying osetogenesis, adipogenesis and chondrogenesis related diseases.

Human Embryonic Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Study the early stages of mesenchymal stem cell development by using our human ES derived mesenchymal stem cells. Multipotent mesenchymal progenitors derived from the MEL-1 human embryonic stem cell line.

Human Adipose Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Mesenchymal stem cell derived from human adipose tissue have become more popular over the past 10 years due to their fast growth kinetics and overall ease of use and tissue isolation compared to bone marrow derived mesenchymal stem cells. P2 primary human adipose mesenchymal stem cells are a convenient source to study any area of mesenchymal stem cell biology.
