Application submissions will be judged by a qualified Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany panel of judges, based on the following objective criteria of equal weight: (i) the scientific and societal merit of the therapy being developed, and (ii) process challenges and expertise gaps associated with the development of the therapy.
