Application NotesELISA (1:5000-1:100,000)
Frozen Sections (1:500-1:5000)
Immunoblotting (1:5000-1:100,000, colorimetric; 1:10,000-1:200,000, chemiluminescence)
Immunocytochemistry (1:500-1:5000)
Paraffin Sections (1:500-1:5000)
Application CommentsBased on immunoelectrophoresis, this antibody reacts with the heavy chains on human IgG and with light chains common to most human immunoglobulins. Does not react with non-immunoglobulin serum proteins. This antibody has been tested by ELISA and/or solid-phase adsorbed to ensure minimal cross-reactivity with bovine, horse, and mouse serum proteins. Antibody may, however, react with immunoglobulins from other species. Antibody should be titrated for optimal results in individual systems.

Special InstructionsReconstitute with 500 µl dH₂O. Centrifuge if not completely clear after solubilizing for 2 h at room temperature. Following reconstitution, refrigerate (4°C). Undiluted stock solution is stable for up 6 weeks at 4°C. For long-term storage, add an equal volume of sterile glycerol and freeze (-20°C) (Note: addition of glycerol will decrease the protein and buffer concentration by half). Following the addition of glycerol, stock solution is stable for up to 1 year at -20°C. Diluted antibody is stable for up to 1 day at 4°C.
