DescriptionRabbit polyclonal antibody supplied as undiluted serum. Recognizes the ~98 and ~105 kDa bands corresponding to full length ADAM10, the ~60 kDa cleaved mature protein, and the ~30 kDa degradation product.
BackgroundKUZ (ADAM10) is a disintegrin metallo-protease in the family of mammalian ADAM. ADAM10 was recently demonstrated to cleave TNFα, notch and its ligand delta. The genes encoding human, mouse, and bovine ADAM10 were recently cloned and designated as ADAM 10, kuzbanian (KUZ), and MADM, respectively. ADAM10 mRNA is expressed in a variety of human and bovine tissues.
