| What is Eastar housing? | Eastar is a polyester material manufactured by Eastman chemicals. It is used as a housing material in a number of Millipore small volume devices that we gamma sterilize. It was chosen by Millipore as a replacement for PVC which discolors when gamma sterilized. |
| Is the Express membrane surfactant free? | Yes, the Express membrane is surfactant free. It also has a very low extractables specification - less then 1.5% by weight. |
