The cell’s ability to respond to its environment is essential for normal development, cellular repair and immunity and is the basis of homeostasis. Errors in these pathways, caused by mutations that may result in constitutive expression or total inhibition of protein transcription, are responsible for such diseases as diabetes, autoimmune disorders and cancer.
Using the Luminex xMAP platform, our MILLIPLEX MAP Cell Signaling Portfolio offers you the ability to investigate simultaneously the expression of intracellular total or phosphorylated proteins involved in multi-pathway signaling or focused in a specific pathway.
Simply choose the format that best meets your needs:
- Comprehensive fixed panels in a one-catalogue-number, all-in-one kit format
- The ability to design your own kit by ordering the buffer kit (48-602) and compatible MAPmates
No matter which you choose, you will receive the advantage of speed combined with sensitivity. Likewise, you will benefit from our simplified ordering process and user-friendly protocols.
Millipore Tagging Services
Using your own antibodies, Millipore’s Tagging Services Team will develop your custom capture and detection antibodies through our bead conjugation and biotinylation services.
Description:
Human Cell Signaling Portfolio
Key Applications:
Multiplexing
Therapeutic Areas:
- Oncology
- Inflammation
- Autoimmune Disease
- Metabolic Disorders
- Neuroscience
Species Reactivity:
Human
Application Notes:
25 µL sample volume with a 4°C overnight incubation shows higher MFI values than 2-hour RT incubation. For MAPmates, the use of the assay buffer (Assay Buffer 1 or 2) suggested in the Buffer Table is recommended.
Sensitivity:
Performance is based primarily upon the fold change (control lysate MFI divided by buffer MFI).
Standard Curve Range:
Dependent on Kit/MAPmate
Accuracy:
Dependent on Kit/MAPmate
Precision, %:
- Inter-assay: Dependent on Kit/MAPmate
- Intra-assay: Dependent on Kit/MAPmate
Cross Reactivity:
Cell Signaling Kit (48-6xx): Cross-reactivity between the antibodies and any of the other analytes within each panel is non-detectable or negligible. Cell Signaling MAPmates (46-6xx): Cross-reactivity between each MAPmate has not been determined. Each Total MAPmate is titratable and each Phospho-MAPmate is both inducible and titratable, indicating assay specificity. IP Western blots also demonstrate analyte specificity.
Detection Methods:
Kit or Assay Type:
- Cell Signaling Kits
- Multiplex Assays
- MAPmates
