A431 cells were analyzed using Anti-HSD17B1 (Cat. No. ABS641, green). Immunofluorescent staining of A431 cells shows positive antibody signal in the cytoplasm and nucleus, including nuclear membrane, but excluding nucleoli. Microtubules are shown in red, and nuclei in blue.
Sensing the environment and controlling body systems define an organism’s behavior and are intricately tied to neural processes. For example, hypothalamic function maintains homeostasis, stress response, blood pressure, glucose levels and satiety. The identification of key neurohormones and receptors has demonstrated a larger role for the CNS in adjusting key body parameters, such as energy expenditure, growth and reproduction. Merck’s comprehensive set of antibodies target soluble factors, receptors, and associated proteins involved in hormonal regulation. Find antibodies to targets such as: Thyroid Hormone and Receptors, Luteinizing Hormone or Choriogonadotropin Receptor, Growth Hormone, Adrenocorticotropic Hormone, Corticotropin-Releasing Factor Receptor, and many more.
