Our new electronic change control management system

At Merck, we understand that customers need to know right away when a process change affects the quality of the raw materials we supply. That's why we've just launched a new state-of-theart electronic change control management system that ensures faster, traceable notifications worldwide – by uniting the whole workflow in a single, harmonized system.

The new system is the most advanced in the chemical industry, and does away with paper altogether. All colleagues now work on the same file, all changes are traceable in a validated system, and everything is archived immediately. And because the new tool is linked to our Customer Information System database (CIS), all data are matched with your contracts and quality agreements. So for example, the moment a relevant specification change is recorded, you receive an email straight away – keeping you up to speed too.
