Can I filter Isopropyl Alcohol with a Sterivex?No. Isopropyl Alcohol has a low surface tension that causes it to wet out the hydrophobic vent on the Sterivex. Once the vent is wet out it passes liquid, and the IPA will leak out of the vent. Any low surface tension solution will do this.
Can I integrity test Sterivex?Yes, Millipore offers a integrity tester for Millex and Sterivex catalogue # SLTEST000
