OverviewA cell-permeable, anticancer agent that acts as a specific and irreversible inhibitor of ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), the rate-limiting enzyme in polyamine biosynthesis. Inhibits B16 melanoma-induced angiogenesis in ovo and proliferation of vascular endothelial cells in vitro.
