Description
OverviewA water-soluble and odorless disulfide-reducing agent that is more stable and effective than DTT. TCEP reduces even the most stable water-soluble alkyl disulfides at pH 4.5 within 5 minutes. TCEP is also capable of functioning as a reducing agent even in the pH range of 1.5-8.5. It is more resistant to air-oxidation as compared to DTT.
