Revision22-May-2018 JSW
DescriptionA DNA gyrase inhibitor that can be used for the production of positively supercoiled plasma DNA. Targets the nucleotide-binding site of gyrase B. Exhibits antibacterial properties. Inhibits retrovirus RNA-dependent DNA polymerases. Inhibits LPS-induced production of pro-inflammatory cytokines. Reported to act as a potent inhibitor of ADP ribosylation. Also inhibits protein synthesis and alters the phosphorylation state of several cytosolic proteins.
