In order to support your biopharmaceutical production, the Merck Millipore Upstream Technology Center Beijing (UTCB) offers you a full array of upstream products and technical solutions, including cell culture media and stainless steel bioreactors. Development and transfer of large-scale cell culture technology to our customers complements our portfolio.We manufacture and supply classical, low-serum, serum-free and customized cell culture media. Our current bioreactor portfolio includes mechanical stirred-tank bioreactors for full suspension and micro-carrier cell culture of 10L, 50L, 120L, 650L, 1200L, and 4000L volume.
The UTCB’s cell culture media production meets requirements for the vaccine and biosimilar industries. The facility based in Beijing has passed ISO9001 Management System Identification by CQC and IQNet, which is recognized by 33 countries globally. Additionally, we have received GMP inspection from the FDA’s accreditation organization and are eligible to supply cell culture media to our customers located in the US.
