LiChrolut® EN

Application Examples

LiChrolut® EN is a mixed polarity copolymer, which provides both polar and non-polar interaction sites, hence it is perfectly suited for solid-phase extraction of mixed polar analytes. Thanks to its extremely high surface area of 1,200-1,400 m2/g, the sorbent is ideal for trace analysis of polar compounds. Furthermore, LiChrolut® EN delivers outstanding performance for applications at extreme pH conditions between pH 1 and 13.

Typical Applications

Analytes Environmental pollutants: Fungicides, herbicides, phenols, pesticides, parabens, hydrocarbons
Pharmaceuticals: Antibiotics, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, caffeine, drugs and their metabolites
Food & beverage: Dyes, essential oils, organic acids, fat/water soluble vitamins, steroids, phthalate esters, surfactants, theophylline
Matrix Mostly polar: aqueous buffer, serum, plasma, urine, beverages, environmental samples (waste/drinking water, soil)
Eluents Organic solvents: alcohols, acetonitrile, n-hexane, methylene chloride, ethyl acetate
