Description
Overview
A water-soluble, neutral, and odorless disulfide reducing agent that is more stable and effective than DTT. THP is comparable with TCEP (Cat. No. 580560) as a reducing agent. Its reduction capacity against oxidized glutathione is 0.232 meq/g (Note: TCEP has a reduction capacity of 0.182 meq/g). THP is also more resistant to air oxidation as compared to DTT.
In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection.
