Le celle con agitatore Amicon garantiscono portate elevate con soluzioni contenenti macrosoluto fino alla concentrazione del 10%. Nella stessa unità è possibile eseguire rapidamente la concentrazione o la rimozione di sali prima della concentrazione. Il recupero completo del prodotto può essere generalmente raggiunto con un circuito diafiltrante, come quello illustrato in figura.
Una delicata agitazione magnetica minimizza la formazione del gel di polarizzazione ed il rischio di tagli denaturanti. Tutte le celle con agitatore possono essere autoclavate.
