      DescriptionAccuChIP™ Acetyl-Histone H3 (Lys9) Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Internal Control
OverviewAccuChIP™ Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Internal Controls are designed to improve the accuracy of ChIP experiments. This simple to spike-in reagent is composed of a target-specific peptide sequence covalently bound to a uniquely designed double stranded nucleic acid sequence. Because AccuChIP controls mimic the behavior of cross-linked chromatin, by simply adding a known amount of the AccuChIP reagent to your chromatin and performing a standard ChIP reaction followed qPCR detection you can improve the accuracy and reproducibility of your ChIP experiments.

      Features and Advantages
      • Simple to use - just add to chromatin either before or after sonication
      • Mimics the behavior of cross-linked chromatin to allow normalization of ChIP signals
      • Target specific control - uses the same antibody used for your ChIP experiment
      • Reduces ChIP variation due to variables such as chromatin preparation, antibody affinity, inconsistent background signals from carry over, and loss of material during handling
      • Easily incorporated into virtually any ChIP protocol
      • Readily detected by qPCR
      • Easily incorporated into ChIP-seq libraries
      • Variety of uniquely designed controls available -add multiple controls to be added to the same chromatin as an process antibody specificity
      Materials Required but Not Delivered
      • Reagents and materials for chromatin isolation from cells or tissues (e.g PureEpi Chromatin Preparation and Optimization kit; EMD Millipore Cat# 17-10082)
      • Sonication device or method to shear chromatin

      Storage and Shipping Information
Storage ConditionsAccuChIP™ Chromatin Immunoprecipitation Internal Controls are stable for 6 months at -20 ºC from date of receipt.
AccuChIP Spike In Reagent is provided as a 20X stock and should be diluted with the provided AccuChIP™ Dilution Buffer to create a working stock. Diluted AccuChIP Spike In Reagent can be stored in aliquots at -20 ºC for up to 3 months. AccuChIP Spike In reagent is composed of a peptide-double stranded DNA conjugate in a buffer containing BSA and glycerol to reduce adherence to the tube. The use of siliconized microfuge tubes for storage of diluted material is recommended.
