      OverviewFolate receptors (FRs) are membrane bound surface proteins involved in folic acid uptake. FRs are frequently overexpressed in a large number of solid tumors including cancers of the ovary, breast and lung. FRs are attractive candidates for cancer imaging and targeted therapies.

      BioTracker NIR Folate Receptor Live Cell Dye is a near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent probe for the detection of folate receptors in vivo. This probe exhibits very low background fluorescence and high tumor-to-background ratio in FR-expressing tumor-bearing mice within 30 min (1).
