Description
OverviewA potent and specific inhibitor of bone resorption that does not cause any significant detrimental effect on bone growth and mineralization at concentrations used. Effective in a variety of conditions characterized by pathologically enhanced bone turnover, including Paget’s disease, hypercalcaemia of malignancy, osteolytic bone metastasis, steroid-induced osteoporosis, and idiopathic osteoporosis. Inhibits breast cancer cell growth by inducing cell death in vitro. Provided in hydrated form, contains five molecules of water.
