DescriptionAnti-PIDD Antibody, clone 1511.1
Alternate Names
  • p53-induced protein with a death domain
  • Leucine-rich repeat and death domain-containing protein
  • PIDD
Background Informationp53-induced protein with a death domain (PIDD) is also called Leucine-rich repeat and death domain-containing protein (LRDD). PIDD is involved in apoptosis downstream of the tumor suppressor. PIDD is a component of the DNA damage/stress response pathway in which p53/TP53 is associated with apoptosis. PIDD also aids in the activation of the transcription factor NF-kappa-B, and CASP2 which regulates apoptotic pathways.
