FormulationIn 100 mM NaCl, 50 mM sodium phosphate buffer, pH 7.4.
PreservativeNone
Quality LevelMQ100
Applications
Application ReferencesNeutralization Studies Verhamme, I., et al. 1999. J. Biol. Chem. 274, 17511.
Key Applications Immunoblotting (Western Blotting)
Neutralization Studies
Application NotesImmunoblotting (10 µg/ml)
Neutralization Studies (see application references)
Application CommentsRapidly inactivates PAI-1 (Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor-1) to the latent form. Like the native latent form, PAI-1 inactivated by antibody was protected from cleavage by elastase. Also shown to reduce renal fibrin deposits in a rabbit model of endotoxemia. Variables associated with assay conditions will dictate the proper working dilution.
