DescriptionNative β2-microglobulin from human urine. Single chain polypeptide that is the constant component of Class I MHC, which is located on most nucleated cells. It is also a normal constituent of serum and urine. Increased levels of this protein in the serum are used as a marker for impairments of renal function and a variety of lymphoproliferative diseases.
