DescriptionAnti-DAI Antibody
Alternate Names
  • Z-DNA binding protein 1
  • chromosome 20 open reading frame 183
  • DNA-dependent activator of IRFs
  • DNA-dependent activator of interferon regulatory factors
  • Tumor stroma and activated macrophage protein DLM-1
Background InformationDNA-dependent activator of IFN regulatory factors (DAI), also known as DLM-1/ZBP1, belongs to the Zipcode-binding protein (ZBP) family. This family of proteins regulate the stability and localization of their target mRNA. It is expressed during embryonic development, but repressed in normal adult tissue. When re-activated, it has been detected in tumors such as breast, colon, and non-small cell carcinomas.
