DescriptionAnti-FANCJ/BACH1 Antibody, clone 2G7
Alternate Names
  • Fanconi anemia group J protein
  • Protein FACJ
  • ATP-dependent RNA helicase BRIP1
  • BRCA1-associated C-terminal helicase 1
  • BRCA1-interacting protein C-terminal helicase 1
  • BRCA1-interacting protein 1
Background InformationBach1 and Bach2 constitute a subfamily of the basic region-leucine zipper family. Bach proteins form heterodimers with small Maf proteins, bind to the Maf recognition element (MARE) and repress target gene expression. Transcription regulator protein BACH2 mediates early B cell differentiation and is specifically expressed in pro and mature B-cells. This protein plays an important role in both the immunoglobulin class switch, oncogene-induced senescence, and somatic hypermutation.

Applications
ApplicationThis Anti-FANCJ/BACH1 Antibody, clone 2G7 is validated for use in western blotting, ICC & IP for the detection of FANCJ/BACH1.
Key Applications
  • Western Blotting
  • Immunocytochemistry
  • Immunoprecipitation
