DescriptionPurified mouse monoclonal antibody. Recognizes ADA protein.
BackgroundADA (Adenosine deaminase) is an enzyme involved in the purine catabolic pathway. It irreversibly deaminates adenosine, thereby converting it into the related nucleoside, inosine. Defects in ADA are a cause of autosomal recessive severe combined immuno-deficiency (SCID).
