-Phospho-specific and total MAPmate™ pairs, e.g. total GSK3β and GSK3β (Ser 9)
-PanTyr and site-specific MAPmates™, e.g. Phospho-EGF Receptor and phospho-STAT1 (Tyr701)
-More than 1 phospho-MAPmate™ for a single target (Akt, STAT3)
-GAPDH and β-Tubulin cannot be plexed with kits or MAPmates™ containing panTyr

Honoring Energy Month
Facilities Focus on Green Buildings to Minimize Environmental Impact:
- The Molsheim, France facility received ISO 15001 Certification for energy management.
- The Billerica, MA headquarters facility achieved ENERGY STAR status for the fourth year in a row due to the ongoing efforts to reduce energy consumption at the facility. With a score of 87, the facility operates more efficiently than 87% of buildings used for the same purpose.
- A new facility in Bangalore, India is currently being constructed to LEED Gold Certification standards. The site, which is set to open in January 2015, will consume less energy and water, while simultaneously creating a healthier and more productive workplace.
- The Merck Danvers, MA manufacturing facility and Bedford, MA R&D facility feature interactive environmental dashboards, the Lucid building dashboard, which provide details on the buildings’ real-time energy and water use, as well as their specific LEED certified building features.
- At the Jaffrey, NH manufacturing facility, a biomass central heat plan is being constructed. Once completed, it will supply 100% of the heating requirements of the facility and avoid consumption of approximately 1.5 million liters of fuel oil annually. The plant is planned to be operational in early 2015.
- Merck celebrates the five year anniversary of the installation of solar panels at its Billerica and Bedford facilities in Massachusetts. The combined output from the panels have produced 1,720,000 kilowatt hours of electricity and saved more than €174,250 in electricity costs.
