      Description
OverviewPolyamine that plays an important role in the regulation of cellular proliferation and differentiation. Has both stimulatory and inhibitory effects on NMDA receptors depending on the subunit composition of the receptor. Acts as an inhibitor of phospholipase Cα and an activator of phospholipase Cδ. Inhibits DNA fragmentation and morphological apoptosis. Inhibits neuronal NOS.
