      Description
OverviewAn aminoglycoside antibiotic containing 5 amino groups that exhibits antibacterial and antiamebic activity. Recent NMR evidence indicates that paromomycin binding to the A-site of 16S rRNA induces a local conformational change, suggesting a mechanism for aminoglycoside action on protein translation. Also exhibits anti-protozoal properties.
      Potency: ≥675 µg/mg.
